Red Pay

The RedPay mobile app redesign project started with the client providing PPT screens, which I then transferred to Figma. Using these initial layouts as a foundation, I reimagined the user interface and experience, optimizing it for ease of use and scalability while staying true to the app's core functionality.

Problem Statement

RedPay's mobile app faced usability challenges, including confusing navigation, complex screens, and limited features for international scalability. These issues hindered user engagement and failed to support a diverse user base.

Solution

We redesigned the app's interface by focusing on:

  • Simplifying the user interface and improving navigation for seamless payment experiences.

  • Enhancing user engagement through personalized features and tailored recommendations.

  • Expanding payment options and integrating new features to accommodate diverse user needs.

Design Process

  1. Research: Conducted user research to understand user needs and pain points

  • Conducted interviews with existing RedPay users to gather insights into their pain points and preferences.

  • Analyzed competitor apps to identify industry best practices and areas for improvement.

  1. Mid-fi: Created Figma screens to translate client-provided PowerPoint screens into a more refined, cohesive representation.

  2. Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to test usability and gather feedback from stakeholders and users.

  3. Visual Design: Apply visual design elements, including color schemes, typography, and iconography, to enhance the app's aesthetics and brand identity.

  4. UX Writing: Craft clear and concise UX copy to guide users through the app and communicate key messages effectively.
